Thrilling Thursday

Usually Fantastic Friday's are my favorite day, but since I didn't have to work today (or Monday!!), yesterday was like our Friday!! Beau got to sleep in late! I put him in bed with Paige before I left for work, and Paige said that when he woke up, he was so happy to see his daddy there!! On his way to preschool, he and Paige stopped at Dunkin and got donut holes. Then Paige took him to school just in time for his soccer class. Every Thursday, Beau gets to play Happy Feet Soccer! He loves it and always gets TWO stamps. For dinner last night, we went to our favorite burger place, The Counter. This place has THE BEST burgers we have ever had in our life! We've only eaten there once before (at Christmas time) and we have been craving it ever since! After that, we went over to the mall so Beau could ride the "carouself" and he picked the big lion (Simba) to ride. Then we went over to the train. We were the only passengers, and the conductor gave us a great ride! We went all over! It probably helped that there was nobody in the mall so he could go everywhere, and Beau had so much fun!

Valentine's Day 2012

Me to Beau~ "Beau, do you know what day it is today?"
Beau~ "Wednesday!!"
Me~ "No it's Valentine's Day!" Do you know what tomorrow is?"
Beau~ "Friday!!!"
Well, atleast he's learning his days of the week...now we just need to get them in order!!

We had a nice Valentine's spent at my parent's house. Adam and Landon came, and boy is she a little pistol!! She kept getting into Beau's snack, and she even stole his cookie! It was so cute! His little face was like, "Mom!! Make her stop!!" I love it! Then they splished splashed together, and she was all over the place! Beau doesn't know what to do with this girl!! The best part was the time we spent all together~ Precious time that we will never get back and hope and pray for much more of.

These are all my Valentine's from my 5th graders! I got 11 boxes of chocolates! (They are going with Mom and Dad to the doctor's office today! I had to get them outta here!)

Last night, Paige got home and Beau was SO excited to show him all of his Valentine's! They looked at each one of them, and then lined them up on the bench. For all the kids that I guess are his friends, he just laughed so hard when Paige read their names!

All done!! That's a lot Valentine's! So many people love you, Beau Beau!

2.5 years old

This past Thursday, we had Beau's 2 1/2 year doctor's appointment. Just incase you needed a professional's opinion, Beau is "PERFECT!" She had to look at the paper twice to see that the numbers were correct in that his height and weight are in the 86% range and his head is in the 87%! She said that we need to frame this in the front office! She's never seen a child so perfect! I think she meant that he is perfectly proportional but whatever! We will take it! We think he is just perfect as well! (Until he reminds me how great he is at being TWO!!!!!) Here are a few pics of our "perfect" and BIG ~~baby~~ boy!!!

Oh yeah, and she said to go ahead and give him some peanut butter! (I asked how we would know if he was alergic). My dad will be SOOOOOOOOOO happy! He has had dibs on giving him his first taste of "The good life!" Anyone who knows my dad knows that he has loved peanut butter his whole life and has not gone a single day without it! He even loves it so much that one night he had an entire conversation about peanut butter to which now one of our many family jokes when he goes on and on about something is, "PEANUT BUTTER!!!!" This is like saying, "Ok! We get it!!" Love that crazy Poppy! So, on Saturday, Dad made Beau his first peanut butter and honey sandwich. Beau didn't really know what to think. He wanted honey to dip it in and he ate one triangle. It was a good "first taste of the good life!"
