Sunday

Today we went to Adam and Frazer's and hung out and ate yummy pizza.  Even though that's Beau's favorite food, all he wanted to eat were Adam's Captain Crunch Berries!
Here are some cute pictures from today starting with Landon in her "after dinner look" (per Adam).  :)

After dinner look and the Braves helmet!
Sunday morning muffins!  Licking the batter like always.
SO CUTE!

Fun Friday

Menchies is the coolest little ice cream shop! You pick the yogurt you want and then pick from a million toppings. Beau loves it and totally knows the drill! Yum yum!!

Confessions of a 2 year old

The other day, as we were getting out of the car, Beau began confessing all his sins from preschool! It reminded me of that scene in The Goonies~ click here! Haha! Only I wasn't chocking him!  And there was no blender!  He just offered this up as I was unbuckling his car seat~
Beau- "Mommy, I hit my friends."
Me- "Why did you hit your friends? Did you get put in timeout?"
Beau (all smiles)- "UHH HUHH (like Curious George's voice). I go to timeout!"  Well, at least he's honest!

Here's a little clip of us trying to get Beau to tell us what he shouldn't do at school~

And, yes little buddy. You are right! You shouldn't spit either!...but about that hitting... :)

Daddy loves the cubbies

Despite our efforts to get Beau to say his favorite team is the Braves, he thinks he loves the Cubbies because his daddy does!

4-15-12

Lucy made a sign for Beau so he wanted to send some love right back!

And then he played a little bat-tee!

Well, on another note, one month has past since Mom went to Heaven, but not a minute has gone by that I haven't thought about her, wondered how she is, what she would do about situations with Beau, EVERYTHING.  I think about her all the time.  It still feels so new and so unreal and I don't know if I will ever have the right words for Mom being gone.  Basically, it just sucks.  I know that's not a huge SAT word or whatever, but that's how I feel.  It just really sucks.  :(

Mom of the year??

Since my little bud isn't feeling well, I picked him up some "free free frys" on our way to Mom and Dad's house.  I intended on giving him just a few at a time, but he had a different idea!  A plate full of fries!  Mom-of-the-year right here!

Favorite Things..(and a sick, little boy)

When I picked Beau up from school yesterday, I noticed he looked a little weird and felt a little warm.  His teacher said his cheeks might have been red because he had just tripped on the playground face-first into the dirt!  But, I wasn't so sure and called his doctor anyway, and within 15 minutes of leaving his school and getting to the doctor, he had spiked a fever of 102!  Poor little guy!  So, today I stayed home with him, we slept in (about an hour later than normal~ still too early!!) and watched Curious George ALL DAY!!  I lost count, but I believe we watched {insert Beau's voice} "Monkey on the train" about 5 times, "monkey ah baseball" for about an hour, and "monkey making ah juice" atleast 5 times!  Whatever makes him happy...  ;)

Look at this poor, little guy.
And how about that fever rash??
 Watching "Monkey"

So, for this Friday, some of my Favorite Things are as follows:
~Antibiotics
~Children's Tylenol and Advil
~Curious George...the first time but 100 times today is a lot of that little monkey! :)

along with a few other things~

Check out this cute board I found at Queen of Hearts in Alpharetta.  I have wanted something to hang my jewelry on for awhile now, and when I saw this, it was just what I've been looking for!  It's a little big, but I really like it!  Dad asked, "Do you even have that many necklaces?"  Ha!  And the answer is no.  But I am going to put more things on it, maybe a few notes I cherish at the top...not sure yet, but this is it so far.
On it I have some of my jewelry.  Who am I kidding.  This is just about all my jewelry.  I don't accessorize nearly as much as I would like!
Anyway, I have some really special things, even though I don't have much.  Here's the rundown:
~My pearls I got from Mom and Dad a few birthdays ago
~My childhood "charmin" bracelets (as mom called them)
~My "Beau bracelet."  It's a Pandora-type one Paige got me when Beau was born
~My little diamond bracelet Paige got me when we first started dating (it has broken twice so now it is hanging here...broken...one day I will fix it again).
~I also have a beautiful butterfly broach Dad got for me when he went to Germany quite a few years ago.  I LOVE it and love that I now have somewhere to display it!
~My necklace I got from Annie to wear in her wedding.  I love all those pearls together!
~My "Beau Birthstone Necklace" Frazer got me  :)
~My necklace from Paige which I wore for our wedding
~Other various things...and some things aren't on here yet.  (Beau woke up mid-decorating so I had to quit).  Oh, and you will also notice in the bottom left corner there are 2 pieces of flair.  These are my prizes for being a coaches wife.  Two national championships and I get these lovely things.  :)  Haha!
My "charmin' bracelets"

My football wife bling!

Here is my other new favorite thing!  This lovely thing is also from Queen of Hearts.  It's an old drawer, and it's perfect for pictures on one side and my clickers on the other!  Mom has an old box on a side table with lose pictures in it, and I have always loved it.  I have looked for something to use for my lose pictures for a long time now, so I was happy when I came across this!  I want to be just like her!

So there you go.   I'm starting to realize I love a lot of things.  A lot of things I have, lots of things I want, things I see online, at Target, etc...I guess I've just got a lot of love for all sorts of crap! Humm...the Brewers just tied the Braves... Maybe my next post will be all the things I hate!!  They will be on top!  (and the Phillies, too!  I will always hate the Phillies!)

One more favorite:
Stole this from Landon's blog!!  This is AWESOME!!

Easter 2012

Easter was pretty fun this year~ bittersweet, but fun.  I've been told that everything is going to be "bittersweet" from now on...I believe it.  But Mom wants us to carry on, so carry on we will...

Beau had a good time dying and hunting eggs.  He got tired of hunting for the eggs after about 2 minutes and started shaking them to see if anything was in it.  If there wasn't anything, he would throw it back in the yard and move on to the next!  He was soon over it and onto his new favorite sport~ Golf!

The rest of the day was spent watching The Masters.  It was a really nice, relaxing Sunday and a great end to a much needed Spring Break for me.

Enjoy the many, many pictures and videos!

Beau pushed Landon around on this forever!  He was so cautious and sweet with her, and she LOVED it!!

Look at me!!  I'm cute!

They are best friends!

Daddy hugs!

Admiring his granddaughter

I'm standing now, people!!

The Easter Bunny came to visit while Beau was napping
