Beau's new ride

Paige's mom and Mr. Larry came in town this weekend, and we had a great time!  She got Beau a big Lightning McQueen for his birthday!  Thankfully, it came in on Saturday, just in time for Paige to be home for a while before his game to help put it together, and just in time for Pamie to see him ride it before they headed back to Arkansas yesterday morning!  He loves it and is so excited about a BIG Lightning!

Daddy says, "No nap!"

This is what Beau has been trying to tell me lately.  Let's just set the record straight~ 1. Daddy NEVER said, "No nap." 2. Even if he did, I'M the boss! :)

So, the other day, Beau refused to nap.  After about 1.5 hours of back-and-forth to the bed, I let him get up but his "punishment" was that he had to do "letters."  He LOVED it, and the next day tried to get out of his nap, again, and said he, "wanted to go do letters!"  Maybe it wasn't such a punishment after all!

July 28-August 4: Grayton Beach, Florida
This trip was all about babies, being together, reminiscing, laughing, crying, EATING, relaxing, and enjoying family and loved ones past and present.

On the airplane headed to Atlanta.  First time in his own seat!  He kept saying, "Whoa whoa!!" during takeoff!

Beau's 3rd Birthday

I can't believe my little premie is now a big ol' THREE year old!  Where does the time go?!?!  Before we left for Atlanta and the beach, we had a little birthday party here at the house with the Flores' and the Mattox's.  Then, of course, we had to have a little celebration on his actual birthday while we were at the beach.  He had a great "birthday week" if I should say so myself!
