Neewollah, Our last game, and Halloween

The night before our last game, Paige, Beau, and I went to a Halloween festival in the neighboring town. It was cold but fun! We ate foot long corn dogs and of course cotton candy! Then the next day we had our last game. Thankfully we won in double overtime! And then to close out my favorite month, we celebrated Halloween with Beau's school party, a carnival at the church, and trick-or-treating! It was pretty fun if I should say so myself!

The Dillon girls came to visit!

A couple weeks back, we got a fun visit in the middle of the week! Annie, Lucy, and Savannah came!! They got here that Wednesday afternoon and stayed til Thursday afternoon! We had a great time just hanging out, drinking coffee, eating, and watching the kids play! It's like a mini beach vacation (even when we are hours from the beach) whenever we see them!

After they headed back to Lawrence, beau had a hair cut appointment. He must have been tired from playing so hard with Lucy because he fell asleep in the chair while getting it done! It was hilarious!

Beau's Field Trip

A few weeks back, I was lucky enough to get to go with Beau and his class to the pumpkin patch! It was cold and the rain was coming in so we didn't stay long, but the kids had fun! Beau picked the first pumpkin he saw! He's easy to please!

Hello!

Well a lot has gone on since I last posted. We traveled for quite a few football games, I started a half day preschool job, and filled our days lots of the usual fun, everyday stuff!

Beau's favorite book

Since school started back, we have been going to library just about every week and getting stacks and stacks of books.  Last week, we came home with a super hero book and by the time night came, we had read that book about 50 times! So it really wasn't too much of a surprise when a few days later I caught him reading it and saying every single word correctly! Here he is a few nights ago reading it to Paige.

Lately

Well, lately all we have been doing around here is living the football life! Our lives revolve around a few Saturdays a year and we love it! We didn't start the season out well but now we have won the last two games and hopefully will win tonight! Besides football, Beau started a new preschool and he is loving every minute of it! He even cried a couple weeks back when he woke up and asked if he was going to school today and I had the nerve to tell him no because it was SATURDAY!!  Most kid's favorite day of the week!  Not Beau! He wanted to go to preschool! I guess that's a good sign! Here are a bunch of pics of what the rest of August looked like for us~
